The firewood is already chopped and stacked when you arrive at Dolly's. Having a fire pit going on a summer evening with family and friends is what Dolly's is all about...and if you get up the next morning to ride a bike that is fine...if you sit on the deck and let your thoughts wander that is a pleasant beginning for the day.

Great news! The trail is now partially opened towards Wilton...at least through the tunnel and the Tunnel Trail Campground...thanks to the campground owners efforts! Trail remains closed from Kendall to Elroy.

Next Saturday, the 16th, there will be a huge auction, in Kendall, with ducks, rabbits, chickens, goats, sheep, calves, tools, quality household furnishings, like new sofas, recliners, tables, Hummels, glassware, kitchenware, Toro s.p. mower, chipper, etc., etc. Starts early at 9 AM but the kitchen is open for breakfast! Last one for the season

A few early trees are already showing us their crimson red dress. I have sighted at least two groups of geese heading to the warmer climates. Fall is one of the nicest times to ride the bike trail. Cooler temperatures and a campfire wrapping up the day is a perfect getaway.
