Hi!! I’m Heather Chute, an Oklahoma girl, born and raised.

I am a wife and best friend to the greatest guy on the planet and proud momma of 2 young girls!! Sooner blood runs through my veins. I attended the University of OK, where I studied Business Administration. I moved from rural Wisconsin 6 yrs ago, to Kansas City, Missouri,
where I currently reside. I am totally and completely obsessed with antiques and old things….the history they have & the story

they tell. I have a passion for design and all things French!! I love to mix old with new. I love beautiful spaces and creating them on a budget! I can’t pass up a bargain!(Just ask my husband) I love garage sales, estate sales, flea markets and thrifting. I am a shameless curb diver and discarded treasure rescuer.(well, I call them treasures ;) I am obsessed with saving things, ANY THING….people, critters, bugs and FURNITURE!!! I love to PAINT and I love the satisfaction of transforming something thrown away or unwanted into something of beauty. (kind of mirrors the grace and mercy GOD has shown me in my life) I believe in forgiveness, second chances and Happy Endings!! And last but not least I am a proud lover of GOD, if it weren’t for HIS grace and mercy I would not be where I am today!

I had several people@the Labor Day sale wanting dressers. ...

I have just acquired a great solid wood dresser and will be posting pics of in the next week. I'm finishing up a few custom projects and will be starting on this piece next. It is a 7 drawer dresser and the measurements are 63"long by 32" high. Since I have not started on this piece yet, you can pick the color and finish! anywhere.....a kitchen, a
bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, an office, or
craft room. The dimensions on this piece are approx 67.25"
tall by 33" wide x 19" deep
You wouldn't recognize her from her before pic,
but after a major
overhaul.... adding
shelves inside,
, a back, several layers of paint, design work on the front, a bit of distressing
and beautiful new
hardware, she is ready to
find a new owner. The
inside is fully painted

It's been a couple of weeks since I've posted anything. I've missed you guys! :-) Paisley and Plaid's Market Sale at Hillsboro Brewing Company was an awesome experience and we met lots of wonderful people. I want to thank Kim for the wonderful opportunity to have it there!! :-)
There is a possibility of another market sale before Christmas so we'll see what happens with that. In the meantime I am working on more pieces and getting my blog and website up and running!!!! Yay!!!
I will be featuring items available for sale that I am currently working on and doing custom pieces as well.

OK...Here are the unofficial details for Paisley & Plaid's Market Sale @ Hillsboro Brewing Company. Friday August 30th 2-8, Saturday August 31st 10-8, Sunday September 1st 11-7....Closing hours are flexible if traffic flow is good. I will be creating an event with HBC's address...
Check out their FB page and like it!...AWESOME family place...great daily lunch specials, WONDERFUL food...honestly, nothing around here with the quality of food this place has!!
