Fat Daddy's Furniture Outlet Fatdaddysfurniture.com We started our own retail store to offer the people of Kansas City some of the greatest possible deals on new furniture.

We are a locally owned and operated furniture store that has been selling to the public for almost three years now, but we have been in the furniture business locally for 16 years as a distributor. We are not a very pretty operation, but what we lack in the finer things we make up for with our customer service and fantastic prices. We are able to offer better deals on furniture than our competitor

s because in most cases, we deal directly with the manufacturer. We keep our operating costs to a minimum, which means we don’t need to mark up our furniture as high as other local stores. We don’t have a huge lease payment due every month, and we only have two full time employees. All of these things translate in to huge savings for the consumer! Available furniture is on our website. Our Story

Fat Daddy’s Furniture Outlet has been a part of the Kansas City metropolitan area for over a decade, opening its first store in Lawrence, KS, moving to Independence, MO, then Kansas City, MO, and finally Kansas City, KS. As Maverick Distributing, the owner distributed furniture to other local, family-owned stores in the area for nearly 2 decades, until the arrival of corporate big box stores forced most of those stores out of business. Taking misfortune for opportunity, Maverick leveraged its long-term relationships with furniture manufacturers, and Fat Daddy’s opened for business to offer fantastic, affordable furniture directly to the public.
