> HEBERT REUNION/CAMPOUT
> AUGUST 2, 3 & 4th 2019
>
> Hello Everyone,
>
> The time has arrived again for all Hebert’s to celebrate our beloved reunion. This will be our Fifteenth year at this campground. This campground has everything we need - convenience - cleanliness - central location - a great pavilion - patient proprietors!! The campground is Kankakee South KOA and it is located in Chebanse. They have a web site, to access the site go to www.KOA.com/where/il/13144/ . For those of you that don’t have time to look it up, the nightly rates will be $30 to $35 a night depending on the site location. We will be using sites 1 to 7 next to the pavilion and than some other drive thru sites for the families with campers. We also have the big pavilion to use this year too!
>
> This KOA is close to the Kankakee Fairgrounds, which will have the fair this weekend. So expect the campground to be crowded.
>
> Everyone will receive a “Passed Inspection” stamp when you show me your paid receipt for your campsite and pay into the kitty. Everyone will have to check in at the front desk, pay for their site, then check in with her upon their arrival, we appreciate all of your cooperation.
>
> Attached you will find our menu for the weekend, along with a list of things that each family will be expected to bring and then an additional list of specific items each family should bring. We made an inventory last year of the things we have in our storage camper, therefore some things have been adjusted on your lists of what to bring, so make sure you are aware of them. A few names have changed on our individual lists, with the ever changing attendees, we made some adjustments.
>
> We will have Uncle Joel & Crew get the ribs and Erica will get the BBQ sauce, pasta salad supplies and ground coffee. Dan and Erica will also bring the large cook top. Elaine will get the cook top butter. We will be ordering fried chicken. We will have a kitty everyone will be expected to throw into to pay for ice, donuts, sweet corn, ribs, chicken and all other expenses. Just a reminder when we say everyone will pitch into the kitty, that’s what we mean. Once you are old enough to vote, you are old enough to pitch in. After projecting our budget, expect $40 for families and $20 for over 18 and single. Lastly, if you would like to add an item to one of our meals, let me know so that we can adjust the food properly.
>
> If you have to work late on Friday, late for dinner (approx. 6:30 pm), or unable to attend please let us know before Wednesday, July 24th or give someone your food supplies. We will need some of them for dinner. Last year, we had quite a few family members not attend without notification and we were short on ingredients and an over abundance of food (i.e. ribs and chicken), which shorted our kitty. Also please don't forget any camp supplies you may have stored with you, i.e. dish pans and wash basins, etc. I know most things are in the storage camper. I was told the storage camper received a beautiful make-over! Can't wait to see it! Shout out to the handsome men (Grandpa Mark, Uncle Joel, Uncle Fred) for working so hard it!

> We have a big box of eating and serving utensils for all our meals. The kitty will provide napkins and heavy duty plates for all our meals as well. There are large rolls of plastic table clothes for the picnic tables, so no need to worry about that unless you want a table covering for a table at your campsite. Most tables end up at the pavilion, just so you know.
