Fraudulent company!!! Stay away! I contracted Tim from Atlanta Bookshelves for a large library project on November 2022. He came out to my ranch and collected a deposit of $10K, they only take checks, beware, the contract stated that final completion would be made on or before March 31, 2023. In March, Tim came back out and collected the remainder of the deposit which was $2394.00, for a total of $12394.00, which was half of the contracted amount. He stated that install was close, March came and went and no install. They said there was a delay in the drawings being made. Install was moved to May. May came and went, they said they were having problems getting cabinet doors and wanted to move me to July. Again, I had no choice here as they were holding me ransom basically, so I said let me do some other things in the room and hopefully they will have it ready for August. I called Lorraine their Project manager and asked, "when are we installing in August?" she stated that she couldn't install in August because she gave away my spot and that the best she could do is late November! I said enough is enough and said if they couldn't install by Oct, I was cancelling and taking them to court. I asked to speak to Tim the owner several times with no luck, Lorraine their front person refused to connect me or pass along the message. Tim is only around to collect money it seems and then disappears. The owner's wife Ginger called me and said she would make things happen to fix the issue, she seemed nice at first but don't be fooled these people are scammers. Lorraine called me back 3 weeks later and said install would finally be on Sept, 29, 2023 almost a full year since contracted. On Sept. 29, Lorraine called me and said that the stain they had applied to my cabinets had not come out good and they needed to reschedule!! At this point i was fed up. I said "provide me with pictures of my cabinets and the faulty stain, and I will wait", needless to say, she never called me back or provided proof that they even had my cabinets. I immediately filed a police report and have started legal action against Atlanta Bookshelves and Tim and Ginger Ford. my advice, stay away from this company unless you want your money stolen. My police report case number at the Joneboro Police dept, is case number 23-10-00041
