working on some wooden trees!

& heads up! i’ve decided to have my own booth at the Christmas tree lighting market in Jenison Nov. 29th. It’s held at the Georgetown Public Library from 4-8pm! There will be lots of fun events for kids, other local vendors, and of course, the annual tree lighting! 🎄

You can also place a custom order before then, if you started decorating already like my wife!

this one is a sentimental piece! for those that didn’t know, my grandpa (among his brothers) owned hudsonville creamery. after he passed in 2021, there were a few keepsakes my mom couldn’t part with - this old milk can being one of them. we made it useful and created an end table! 😍

this was a fun project!🔥only my second fireplace i’ve built, and I got to try some new techniques out! this one is vertical shiplap, a concrete smear around the fireplace insert, and a drawer for the mantle to hide the brains to our frame tv! the wife sure knows how to test my skills. but hey love learning new things!

i’m working on another fireplace in my moms living room at the moment. also have a mantle project coming up for a family member! & I can’t wait to get started on one for our basement during these cold, winter months ahead! 🙌🏼❄️

woodworking has always been a passion of mine. after spending two years flipping an old farmhouse, and now after moving closer to home, I’ve had more time on my hands to dabble in some new woodworking endeavors. some of my projects lately consist of wooden coasters, fireplace mantels, decorative bowls, centerpiece boats, shelving, end tables, and more! i’ve decided to start selling some of my pieces, while also taking on some custom orders.

i’m not really sure how this will do, but I plan to post my new items here & on FB, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re in the market for local woodworkings or need a great holiday gift idea! 🙌🏼🪵🪚👍🏼
