The more dining sets I build, the more respect I have for quality hardwood lumber.

Crazy how much time, detail, and craftsmanship goes into a solid custom piece. Always learning something new with every build.

Turns out I learned a very important lesson during this project. I’m apparently allergic to a certain finish lol.

Judging me while I take a break from sanding

Fresh glue up and sanded on this ambrosia maple top.

You can really start to see the grain and color come alive at this stage. This is what makes each piece completely one of a kind.

Definitely should’ve clarified I needed 8ft boards 😅

Ended up bringing home 16ft ambrosia maple… but hey, we made it work and got it home.

Now the fun part starts. This is going to turn into a pretty awesome table and I’m excited to see how it comes out.
