My heart is full and grateful! 🤍
Just finished up a job at the house that started it all!

Back in 2014, my friend Betsy was looking for someone to paint their kitchen cabinets.
I had never painted cabinets before but did have lots of experience painting furniture.
So, to me, how hard could it be???

I had lots of confidence in myself (lol) and got started. I learned VERY quickly that it was much harder and a lot more work than I originally thought.

I kept learning and teaching myself and, even though nothing was easy, I found a new passion in painting cabinets and transforming people's kitchens and bathrooms into spaces they loved again.

Fast-forward 11 years... Betsy reached out to me again to come back over and paint their bathroom vanities and laundry room. I was thrilled beyond words to be back and even more grateful she trusted me all those years ago to do their kitchen. I owe lots of love and gratitude to her for helping to make my little business into what it is today. 🤍

I've estimated that, in the past 11 years, I've painted close to a mind-blowing (at least to me) 2,500 doors and drawers! And I've added hundreds more furniture pieces to my painting résumé as well.

I've painted friends' cabinets, families' cabinets, my own cabinets, and have made so, so many new clients-turned-friends along the way. I love each of you more than you know!

My "Prime Day" looks a lot different than Amazon's :)

Before paint gets applied, I do lots of prep work to ensure proper adhesion and a beautiful end result that will last. Clean, sand, and a few other processes I have, then everything gets primed. I don't skip a thing and take pride in doing it "the hard way!"

Welcoming the New Year with a New Entryway!
Maybe 2021 will like it better than the old. I mean, at this point, why not try anything to get 2021 to like us 😁. Obviously kidding (maybe).
Also,
•The husband survived the project chaos. Not by much, but he did 👋
•remind me to never rip up tile again. That was very much not fun 😳
•finished up on Christmas Eve (just need to get a floor transition piece). My family thinks it's perfectly normal behavior by now that I was caulking base boards at 10pm. I mean, surely other people were caulking while having cookies, cocktails, and singing carols like me?!? 😆🎄
•Paint is Aegean Teal, Benjamin Moore's Color of the Year. I was going for a dramatic/casual/updated look and this color is perfection in my book.

Finished up my last kitchen of the year today and, WOW, it's a beauty! Dark to a beautiful, mid-toned greige, Thunder by Benjaminmoore.
Sometimes I'm still taken aback at the transformation paint can make! And huge props to the homeowner
who did the amazing brick backsplash herself!

This year alone I've completed:
10 kitchens, 7 bathrooms, custom furniture pieces, plus, I'm still a vendor at my favorite store .
I've been busier than I could have ever imagined!

Grateful is an understatement when it comes to how I feel about the business and referrals you guys have sent my way.
My clients quickly become my friends and I cherish each one of you 😊

I truly do love what I do and I hope it shows 💕

Taking a couple weeks off for some fam time, Christmas fun, and letting my sore body and blisters heal, too (except I already started ripping up the tile in our entryway this afternoon because apparently I can't sit still for that long 😅 and want to change up the look by our front door). Stay tuned for pics!

Who's ready for Fall? 🍁🍁🍁
Simple decor is my jam and I love using pieces I already have and incorporating seasonal decorations to them. I added some white pumpkins to my dough bowl and picked up this preserved leaf wreath from Trader Joes and just like that, I'm done!
Now if the Florida weather would cooperate and not be 100 degrees ☀️

Happy Easter!
Picked up these beauties from and made a simple centerpiece for our lunch AND dinner we're hosting today.

Yep, we've got 2 rounds of family, eggs, ham, mashed potatoes, dishes, hunts, cousins and all the fun and chaos that you'd imagine that comes with that.

Wouldn't have it any other way. In between meals and company I'm enjoying the flowers, my coffee and my Jesus.

This piece was so fun to work on and I almost kept it for myself. Glad I didn't because a sweet momma ended up falling in love with it too and purchased it for her nursery ❤️

Channeled a dash of French Country for this one. I had lots of fun collecting and curating, picking and painting!
