Thank you so much for all the kind words and to all the people and former employees who stopped by to say goodbye. We are truly blessed to have so many exceptional people come into our lives.
Throughout the years, I've had people ask how hard was it to work with relatives. For those that didn't know, Rick and I are brother and sister and Pam is Rick's wife. It was not always easy to work together but we all brought something unique to the table that made us a great team. I will miss that and at the end of the day we had a lot of fun!

On our final day, we would like to thank all of you who helped make Carriage House Furniture Co a success. We are grateful for your patronage, loyalty, and most importantly, friendship. Rest assured that we will still be around and that the store will be in good hands.

We will be closed after today until January 2nd, at which time the new owners Brianna Tates and her husband André will reopen with a Grand Opening Sale. Stay tuned for more details!

Our Story

As a family owned and operated business we take pride in our history. In 1971, after retiring from the United States Marine Corps, our parents, George and Zylsa Smith, started World Art Gallery, specializing in fine art and quality custom picture framing. In 2000, after our parents’ retirement, we decided to expand the business to include quality furniture. The philosophy, integrity, and devotion to excellence that gave World Art Gallery its reputation was carried over to Carriage House Furniture Co.

A visit to Carriage House Furniture Co. is always a unique experience. We are a retail furniture store that specializes in solid wood, American made furniture. We sell inventory from our showroom floor which allows us to schedule for immediate delivery. Our showroom is continuously changing with new pieces arriving weekly.

Our design team is constantly searching for and providing furniture from manufacturers that offer unique, well-crafted pieces that set us apart from the rest. We have a large selection of solid wood, heirloom quality furniture and upholstery handcrafted in the U.S.A at prices that are affordable and competitive.
