I was asked by a previous client to help solve the problem of her Law Enforcement husband throwing his gear all over the place when he comes home from his shift. Here is what I came up with to hold his vest (hanging it this way also helps get airflow through it to help a little with the smell. IYKYK) and also his duty belt.

This may look like just a drawer, and you're not incorrect. But this is a small piece of a family's history. I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to do this. A good buddy brought me a drawer from a family heirloom that was beaten, damaged, and warped thanks to Hurricane Matthew. He wanted it to look like it had never been touched, dovetails and all. Did I know how to cut dovetails? Nope. But I learned. And I went through piece after piece of wood until it was right. So thank you bud. I gained a lot more than beer money with this project.

This beautiful table needs a home. 72" L x 36.25" W x 30.5" H. Can comfortably seat 6 but you can squeeze 8 around this puppy.
Table top is a dark walnut with 6 coats of high gloss polyurethane to withstand all the use and abuse you can throw at it. Base is a distressed chalk white with 3 coats of satin polyacrylic. Asking $650.

Nasty weather? Well this stuff isn't going to build itself.
