I hope you’re doing well. I’d like to share several important updates that will take effect on June 1, 2026.
***Scheduling Updates***
Clients are assigned a specific recurring service day each month (e.g., 1st Monday, 1st Tuesday, 1st Wednesday, 2nd Monday, 2nd Tuesday, 2nd Wednesday), based on location. This will remain your consistent monthly appointment day unless I notify you otherwise.
I am working toward phasing out monthly reminder texts, as they have become increasingly time‑consuming. If you have a conflict with your scheduled day, please let me know as early as possible so I can adjust the schedule accordingly. Please note a $10 fee will apply if you are requesting a time outside of what you are provided for that day.
Appointments will now be booked with a two‑hour arrival window (e.g., 8–10 a.m., 9–11 a.m., 10 a.m.–12 p.m.), similar to other in‑home service professionals. I make every effort to stay on schedule, but delays may occur due to longer appointments, traffic, or emergencies. I will send a text with an ETA when leaving the stop before yours.
Many clients have provided a key or garage/door code, allowing me to perform services while they are away. If you would like to do the same, please let me know.
***Updated Cancellation Policy***
Less than 72 hours’ notice: $20 fee
Less than 24 hours’ notice: Full appointment fee
I understand that true emergencies happen, and fees will be waived in those situations. However, repeated last‑minute cancellations will result in fees being applied. Short‑notice cancellations leave me unable to fill your appointment slot or adjust my schedule, resulting in lost income and downtime.
***Updated Service Pricing***
Nail Trim Pricing (Please note: additional‑pet discounts will no longer be offered. Veterinary clinics and grooming salons do not discount based on the number of pets seen, and this adjustment aligns with standard industry practice.)
All canines: $30
All felines, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs: $20
Extended‑time appointments or caution patients (anxiety, aggression, or significant handling difficulty): + $10
***Common Services & Pricing***
-Paw pad shave: $10
-Injectables (Adequan, Solensia, Librela, Cytopoint): $25
-Gland expression: $25
-Ear cleaning: $18
-Subcutaneous fluids (owner provides fluids, line, needles): $40
-Medication administration (oral or topical): $10
-Sanitary shave: $20
-Vet transports: $25/hour
-Travel fee: $8 within 8 miles
Services requested outside your regular recurring date will include a $10 travel fee, subject to availability.
These updates reflect rising operational costs, including fuel, business insurance, and normal wear and tear on my vehicle.
***Pre‑Visit Pharmaceuticals***
If your pet has been prescribed pre‑visit pharmaceutical medications, please administer them at the correct time based on your appointment. Pets requiring these medications will receive a more precise arrival time to ensure proper timing and effectiveness.
If medications are not given as directed and the appointment must be rescheduled, the applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees will apply.
***The Value of Concierge Care***
This is a convenience‑based concierge service. I come directly to your home, saving you the time and stress of transporting your pets, waiting at a clinic, and managing the anxiety many animals experience in those environments. My goal is always to make each visit as smooth and comfortable as possible for both you and your pets.
