Happy Monday, everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. We have several pieces of business to take take care of today, so bear with.
First, thank you to everyone to who came to the Recruitment/Kickoff Party last Tuesay. We had a great group of around 20 Alums who enjoyed food and fellowship with their Sisters. Business minutes will be out some time this week.
Second, if you were not able to attend the party, it is a new year, and therefore time to pay dues if you have not already. Dues are $35 ($36 via PayPal) and can be paid several different ways- either in person to our Treasurer, Ashley Bunn DeLoach or any other EC officer; by mail to Ashley at 54 Omar Circle, Jackson, 38301(check payable to ZTA); or via PayPal, using the email [email protected], then click "send money." Our membership goal for this year in order to win Crown Chapter is 30, so get that moola in! Plus you will not want to miss out on the year we have planned.
Third, we have a new Sisterhood/Sunshine Chairwoman, Patty Smith. We are so grateful to Patty for having taken on this position. It will be Patty's role to reach out to our Sisters during life events-birthdays, anniversaries, losses, marriages, surgeries, etc... so that everyone always feels the ZTA love and knows their Sisters are here for them. Please do not hesitate to contact Patty if we need to made aware of something that is going on a Sister's life.
And finally (until I realize I probably forgot something), the Collegiates are having their annual Shrimp Boil (see the post from Sasha Host on the Alum Group) and they are in need of a little help from us. They have asked that we provide 10-12 cases of 24-count water bottles to be at the Lodge by Wednesday, as well as ice the day of the event. So please (the late notice is my fault) comment below if you can help out. Also, tickets for the event are available from the Collegiates. Message Rachel Evans Morris.
