Crafted using the best parts and materials available. 3 coats of hand sanded and finished clear lacquer encase this with a durable finish--the same finish all of our cases receive. Contains 2 one inch thick automotive style foam for a perfect cushion your artifacts will be happy to reside on. The custom genuine wood inlay is one of our most popular styles . Choice of red, green, black or blue felt. The back is genuine plywood nailed and glued to the back--no cheap masonite here. And all cases use real glass --not plexiglass. The lid has a custom beaded edge around the perimeter such as early 20th century furniture might have--giving the case a very classic appearance. polished brass locks with recessed hinges complete the trim. The end glass panes are antique reclaimed German hand laid glass. Includes an LED battery light for a little accent lighting. Although all of these eastern red cedar live edge artifact display cases have sold --I thought perhaps a few pics would illustrate that not all cases have to be the conventional type. Each one is different by the nature of the wood source--but can be closely matched in size if a "set" is desired. I'll have a fair selection of this style case --along with some really nice looking antique reclaimed sinker cypress at the Elizabethton. Ky. artifact show in May.

Curly maple 42x32 coffee/artifact display table custom built for a many time repeat friend/customer from Virginia aka Joe Mooney. I carefully selected from the best curly maple boards on the rack for this table. Legs are designed to be removed in order to ship or move easily. One piece 1/2" thick Baltic Birch plywood bottom. Full length piano hinge for outstanding lid support. Finished with 4 coats of hand sanded lacquer for a longlasting durable finish.

This artifact display table/coffee table crafted of antique reclaimed walnut will soon be headed to Charleston, SC. to provide a forever home for a fine collection of Civil War artifacts. Turned legs fully support the case that is 5x31x52 supplied with full lamenated glass. Ruby red velveteen will compliment the interior. Lid supports on both right and left sides fully support the lid and are very easy to use. If you are interested in a similar display table please send a note with some detail and will be glad to quote thru pm. This table is very substantial and is in no form like ikea .
