Our dear friend Caroline Mckee stopped by to see Megan this past week. I saw this photo, remembered the year that I "loaned" Megan to Caroline for a month. What makes all of that special was that Caroline is a multi-decade owner of a number of the State Fair of Texas concession booths. Believe me, that is a "BIG DEAL". Those booths take months to prep for, are never easy throughout the fair, and then have to be decommissioned. My offer of giving Megan to her was to give Megan the experience of working within a small group combat task in a State Fair War! The work, the people, the customers never, ever stop and are always super demanding. Unloading 18 wheelers, frying burgers, pouring beer, do what you are told from, well, everybody. It was a formative moment in Meg's life, a profound favor from friend Caroline. Our love to Caroline and her husband Jim will never fade.

Move Solutions, part of the Total Office Solutions Family of "Anywhere" Companies, is proud to announce a partnership with Toys for Tots. Starting Monday, Sept 30th, we are opening our doors to receive trailers and drop-offs of toys and products for the children of the Metroplex area.

We have allocated 10,000 sq' of space at no cost to Toys for Tots until December. Our team will be actively managing this initiative, welcoming volunteers and donors until early December. If you would like to contribute, please donate new, original packaging toys by dropping them off with the receptionist at Move Solutions, located at the S/E Corner of 2201 Chemsearch Blvd, Irving, Texas 75062.

Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm to accommodate your generous donations. Let's come together to make a difference in the lives of beautiful children in need this holiday season. Let's be our Best Person together this year!

I have worked this weekend, gladly and happily. Why? I am living my best life; work fulfills me in many ways involving many people. The sense of relevant that we all need as part of our core confidence has to include people; how you help them grow, how you help them feel relevant, how you show you care with your look, with your actions. I spent twenty hours in my office this weekend, including looking around it, thinking of the many offices along my way. Here is a photo of my first office; lived and loved with for six years of my life. This office did not come with a home, it was home. It did not come with the support of family; family was lost in the need for this office. It did come with the sense of mission, team, man on my left and my right, process, ... Add to all of that that life was filled with smart, capable people with a shared commitment to success or sacrifice of any magnitude. It taught by necessity the need for soft and hard woven together. It set the tone, the pace of those same things in my life since then. I am blessed with my experiences, my memories of that first office. May God keep well all who were in it working with me.
