This beautiful thistle low post in Tiger maple, Circa 1840 Gettysburg,PA. Original bed was procured from a home which housed officers during the civil war. This bedstead refit to a standard king with Tiger maple components, custom headboard with birds eye maple panels, roll top repeat ends. Delivered to a very happy return customer. 250 years ago (March 9th 1775) Thomas Ditson, a farmer from Billerica was tarred and Feathered and put on public display to shame him and send a message to the founding fathers and Patriots of this great nation.
