CeCe ReStyled is a designer/artist known for curvy detailed furniture pieces embellished in all things sparkly and dimensional. She loves to create detailed, artfully designed furniture pieces that feature unlikely color palettes and pattern combinations. Her background in fine arts alongside credentials in Interior Design and Graphic Design have helped her in her career in the furniture art and r

efinishing industry. She finds inspiration by seeking common (or sometimes outside-of-the-box) themes throughout these, and other various types of design, then translating them to her furniture art. As a child she wanted to ‘grow up’ to become an art teacher. She is incredibly grateful that her path in adulthood brought her to just that, living her dream.

I refinished this one for me! Let me just say that making the creative decisions for your own personal piece is entirely WAYYYYY more stressful than painting for other people.

I used a mix of techniques like color washing, faux woodgrain, dry brushing, etc. to achieve a sunbleached wood look. It’s all about the layers, and I love me some layers! I finished it off with a Paint Couture limewash glaze and unassuming hardware with just the right amount of bling.

The top is a blend of blue and green paint colors from Wise Owl Paint with stenciling from my collection for redesignwithprima. The most beautiful Decor Transfer ‘Elegance and Flowers’ adds color and texture through the center drawers. The addition of the floral moulds from Art Stories by Stamperia on the top row of drawers lends a carved wood effect, making the real statement on this piece! 🤩

Pulling up 70yrs of flooring including: peel and stick tile, two layers of linoleum on plywood, another layer of linoleum over cork on plywood subfloor. In that order. Got me rethinking my whole ass life. Should’ve just been a dentist.

Six sides of sunshine! ☀️🪶

I painted this little songbird table a vibrant custom orange, then had fun layering different orange shades for a slightly weathered effect.

Little birds perched on branches were made with Decor Stamps and paint in layers that create a visual texture and sweet little song on each of six sides. The bottom branches were stamped with adhesive and then gilded with variegated metallic leaf that to me mimics the morning sunrise. 🌅

There’s not much from 2020 that I’d like to remember or reminisce upon…this little jewelry box is one exception.

In its previous life, it had some fugly crusty red velvet on the top insert. I replaced it with a wood panel and BOOM, no more fugly crusty. It needed some love and paint only to become a celestial beauty fit for the stars ✨🪐✨

Images of our galaxy, the nighttime skies and the idea of its vastness is the stuff inspiration is made of!

Classic stripes and demure florals meet edgy shadows and timeless texture on this vanity set. I envision a tattooed version of Doris Day in 2025 sitting on the top for photos with her big pearly white smile! 🫶🏼🤩
