Our goal is to encourage and uplift McDowell County citizens - to empower them with the knowledge that there is still hope for McDowell County. We ARE the hope for McDowell County - YOU, each laid off coal miner and his family, every citizen, US collectively. WE are the HOPE for McDowell County and we can turn things around together. It won't happen overnight - but we can do it.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT📣📣📣

At Goodwill we always empower through employment, now we want to empower a local West Virginia school!

This week help the Golden Knights' raise money by packing the mobile donation station at Mount View High School!! This donation drive will take place from Monday, March 6th to Friday, March 11th.

Here's the best part; at the conclusion of the drive, Goodwill will weigh the donations and give Mount View High School a portion of the estimated cash value!

Make some space this holiday season, by cleaning out your closet and donating your gently used goods at our Donation Drive on December 10th at the Family Dollar in Welch, WV from 10 am to 3 pm. By donating to your local Goodwill you help people find job placement and career training in your community.
