I walked into a conference this weekend that held both worlds:

📈 Corporate stages, presentations, and conversations about AI.

🕯️ Altars, poetry, drums, and circles rooted in ancient wisdom.

At the AI-Powered Women Summit, we didn’t just talk about technology. We talked about what it means to stay human in the middle of it.

Here’s what I’m carrying forward:

• If we don’t shape AI with human wisdom, it will shape us.
• The greatest risks to organizations aren’t technical; they’re cultural.
• Women’s strengths — curiosity, empathy, collaboration, and care — are exactly what’s needed (and what tech companies are craving) to build more well-rounded, responsible AI.

And maybe the most profound reminder:

When women gather, we don’t just share knowledge. We share power, stories, and the courage to imagine a future where the humanities lead the way in AI.

A future where all voices are represented, where collective lived experiences shape progress, and where we all contribute to this incredible technological shift.

I’m grateful I showed up — even on a rainy weekend, even when family logistics made it hard — because this conversation is too important to miss.

Ya know what I hate? Overthinking. When I ping pong thoughts back and forth in my head, it is such a waste of energy and time. I’ve recently realized that I often find myself doing it when it comes to social media. 🏓
“Should I post this on my business page or my personal page?”
“What will my friends and family think if I post about spirituality or coaching topics?”
“What will my clients or potential clients think if I post about sensitive subjects?”

Blah, blah, blah. 🙄
I often coach my clients on bringing their full-selves to work. Being authentic. Fighting the desire to be perfect. Allowing themselves to have an opinion and voice it — even if it means exposing themselves and being vulnerable. Yet, I am overthinking and staying stuck in voicing my own beliefs. All because I am wondering what other people will think! Gosh, it sounds so juvenile yet I know we all do this. 🤯

SO, today I am taking action to simplify. I am disabling this page and my Facebook business account so I can limit the overthinking. I’m sure that I’ll be missing some algorithmic data that supports my business… but the peace of mind is way more important to me. ☮️
I am going to bring my whole-self (coach, sister, daughter, wife, friend, soon-to-be-mama, etc) to - my personal account.
