Three new Driftwood creations! Lighted end table and two lamps! The lamps are named Basket Case and Hollow Drifter. Here are the poem descriptions I include with each lamp… enjoy!

The Hollow Drifter

Emptied out with pressure and time, a shell of its former self.
No longer growing, it’s ready now.
Go place it upon a shelf.
Or sit it in a darker spot, a place that needs some light.
You’ll find it soon with not much thought , and it will look just right!
Not to sit there and collect the dust.
Not for the metal to turn into rust.
But to show the world clearly and bolder. How beautiful it is when something gets older!

A Basket Case

Can you relate to this driftwood lamp… beautiful in any space.
Although we can see the evidence, it’s truly a basket case!
But that’s okay, it’s fair to say, we’re all a little cray-cray.
We all have times in this old life when have to shout-out “May-day!”
When your time comes, there’s no better spot for you to sit up camp.
And relax and recharge your weary soul, by this little basket lamp.

These lamps are priced at $350 each for the first week (more if they go to Tamarack next week) PM me if you are interested in purchasing.

Just finished these two beautiful driftwood lamps. The larger on has an Adlake Kero 2-63 antique Railroad lantern and a Barnwood shelf to sit a coffee cup or a model train engine on a piece of track 😉… the smaller lamp has two vintage tiffany-style shades…

Fraternal Twins… Just finished these two beautiful driftwood tables with an industrial sifting plate for the tops! I hate to split up family! So… if you’re interested into bringing them permanent into your home…. Message me!

For those new to “The Wood Shed” … My name is Jeff Davenport. I was born and raised in West Virginia and love creating unique pieces of furniture and functional art that reflect our states God-created beauty! I am also a Tamarack artisan with several pieces on display and for sale at Tamarack Marketplace in Beckley, WV.
