If you have ever contemplated painting ceramic tile, I highly recommend it!! I used the Rustoleum Floor Coating Kit to paint the tiles around a gas fireplace.
☑️Clean and paint….following the kit instructions.
☑️ Stencil using chalk paint
☑️ Distressed the edges with a small paint brush.

🖤 Love the results!

1/4 Bath Updates Photos!! Still working to find some trim to match and then it will be finished! Stared my next project 🖤 Basement stairs and fireplace mantle/surround renew!!

My word of the year…Determined! I am determined to get this bathroom done. Never thought this had bath would take so much time but it’s progressing! I’ve run out of wallpaper and need more shiplap panels but going to forge 💪🏻 on with what I can finish.

As I promised, the before and after pics of the fireplace 🔥!! I will be adding a TV at some point but for now my family is enjoying it!!

Progress!!! After I finally decided the type of boards to add the fireplace, I picked them up yesterday. My dad and I got most of them installed. We were short 2 boards…I calculated wrong and we had to recut one. I am hoping to finish up the trim pieces this week and will share a before and after.

Well, the powder room has been put on the back burner til the cold
Weather hits…but in the mean time, here is what I have been working on.

The web has so many great tutorials on building things! A few tools from my dad, some nails and a load of wood…an electric fireplace!! I still have to decide if I’m going with shiplap or some other product to finish off the unit. Here are some of the pictures I took along the way!! Once I decide on my finish pieces, I’ll share some before and after pics!

Long time no post!! Well things have been crazy here!! We moved and I am so excited to start some no demo reno in my new house!! The first room is a powder room...aka the tiny bathroom!! I always get ahead of my self and start the demo before I get any “Before” pics!! First things first…wallpaper removal ✔️!! Now to decide …shiplap or no shiplap. I have a few days to decide before my fixtures arrive!!

Thought I would post an update of the living room update. Just adding in a little pattern can be an amazing result! p.s. I only had enough patience for on side of the entertainment unit.😂

▶️ When working with removable wallpaper, patience is a must😉
▶️ Be sure to consider pattern match up when purchasing the amount of wallpaper that will be needed.
▶️Have a large table so you can easily measure & cut.
