I haven’t posted much lately but I’m still working. However I won’t be taking any new orders for the the rest of May and June at the very least. The majority of my work over the past couple months now takes place on site out of the shop and that consumes most of my time. Aside from that I still have a family that wants to spend time with me and I have kids starting school and sports and it’s all very time consuming. All orders that I’ve already committed to are still making progress and will still be done before deadlines. Orders on blanks are all postponed as it’s a struggle trying to find material with this shortage. My distributors and even big box stores are hit or miss on whether or not I can get material. Also, people may have noticed I haven’t been keeping my website up to date as I should be. I have shifted most of my focus to my Etsy shop which suits me way better and also allows me to “get back to my roots” so to speak and create things I want to make instead of the more mass produced path I was heading towards which can quickly lead to burn out. Thanks to everyone that has kept me busy and continues to keep me busy but My family and I need a little break while I catch up.

Mother’s Day is close and I have these cutting boards and charcuterie boards done and ready to go. All charcuterie boards in the first picture are $75 each. All cutting boards in the second picture are $65 each. All cutting boards in the third and fourth picture are $95 each. All end grain cutting boards in the last picture are priced as $95 for the small random pattern, $125 for the larger random pattern and $165 for the massive walnut board.

Huge project I was able to be apart of but the part I’m most proud of is the coffered ceiling I built in this new event space. This was my first ceiling project ever. I made 36 individual beams and Dave Wessels helped on the install. As much of a pain ceilings are to work on, I always love the results. I also made those engraved stair risers which still need paint and trimmed out but still a nice subtle addition.
