Our dedicated warehouse support, Mr. Cortney Robinson, donated clothes and shoes to Helping Hands of Humboldt. Jocelyn Eddings gladly received the items to provide to others in need.
We are thankful for this organization and the assistance they give to people in our community.

Farmers Home Furniture of Humboldt recently donated a much-needed set of lamps to the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. The staff there help children and families in many different ways, from providing counseling services to getting children out of abusive homes and situations.
The lamps were donated to add to their "living area" which is a place where children can feel safe and loved just as if they were in their very own home. Thank You so much for all you for the children of Gibson County, we are happy to assist in making their lives easier!!

Farmers Home Furniture of Humboldt made a donation to the American Legion Auxiliary #287 for their Car Show and Silent Auction coming up this Saturday May 16th. The Show will be held at the Wheeler Building in Milan, Tennessee from 9am to 2pm.
The proceeds will go to benefit "Wreaths across America" which is a nonprofit organization established in 2007, that distributes wreaths to be placed on the graves of Veterans in military cemeteries across the U.S.

🍓Farmers Furniture Humboldt recently enjoyed participating in the 88th Annual Strawberry Festival Grand Floats Parade. 🍓
This festival is the longest running festival in West Tennessee and draws roughly 75,000 to 80,00 people each year.
🍓The Strawberry Festival was started in 1934 to promote the area's primary harvest season, which was of course, strawberries! In Humboldt strawberries are more lucrative than cotton, so city officials decided to capitalize on this market by turning the harvest into a festival. 🍓
🍓The Strawberry Festival has grown from an afternoon at the market into an 8-day event full of strawberry themed pageants, parades and tasting events all over the city. It is the "unofficial" start to summer in Humboldt and the community looks forward to this event each and every year. 🍓
