This was a fun one! Walnut record console with hand-cut kumiko panels for the speaker grates and custom brass hardware. My first experience with making kumiko and working with brass. Vinyls can be stored behind the sliding tambour doors in the middle of the console.

Riftsawn white oak dining table 130" x 39".

When discussing the design of this table with the client they told me that they needed something that would not compete with the chairs. I suggested that we use riftsawn white oak that has straight grain to minimize the amount of movement seen in the finished piece. I typically like to let the natural beauty of the wood shine and not use stain, but I do think the black stain ties together well with the black details in the chairs and makes the table and chairs a cohesive set.
