Good morning all. Some good news here... Read on...
For those of you looking to buy homes and are using your VA benefits, here is a bit of good news.
I know everyone has heard about all the hype in regards to our commissions as buyers Agents going away and buyers left to fend for themselves..., well the VA has changed their policy to allow buyers using the VA loans to pay their Buyers Agents up to 3% in commissions to represent them in their buying process . This is huge for VA loans because this was never allowed before. So in other words there is always a way!! Buyers don't fret, if you use the right Real Estate Professional they will know how to get around that.

Looking to buy a # # ? Hello everyone! Here is a brief synopsis on the interest rate meeting that took place yesterday with the FED.
Rates are already lower since hitting 8% in October. Now, the average rate for a 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage is near 7%. That’s up from 4.4% when the Fed started raising rates in March 2022 and 3.27% at the end of 2021, according to Bankrate.

Doug Duncan, chief economist at Fannie Mae, expects mortgage rates will end the year at 6.4%, but that won’t provide much of a boost for would-be homebuyers.

“The housing market is likely to continue to face the dual affordability constraints of high home prices and elevated interest rates in 2024,” Duncan said. “The problem is still supply. If rates come down and it ramps up demand and there’s no supply, the only thing that happens is that home prices go up.”
So in conclusion, if you see a home that really moves you, do not wait it might not be there tomorrow!
