Wishing our sweet, not-so-baby baby of the house, Dayven, the happiest 15th Birthday! 🎈

In the first photo, that’s Dayven on the right and his ever-steady older brother, Rohan, on the left.

If I had to describe Devu in just a few words: sweet, joyful, magnetic, expressive, and filled with just the right amount of cheeky mischief! 🙊 The kind that brings a sparkle to his eyes and often convinces serious Rohan, to come along for the ride. Together, they’ve made a thousand memories I never want to forget.

Devu’s the kind of kid who makes a best friend in minutes. His ability to connect is rare. He lights up when he makes someone laugh, and carries the biggest grin when he’s fully and truly himself.

One of his most beautiful traits is his compassion, especially when it comes to animals. From lizards to dolphins to the way he speaks “caninese” with Coco and Gigi, there’s something so tender and sweet in him that you don’t just see it, you feel it. When you watch an animal feel so understood by him, it reminds you of what love looks like, when it’s effortless. 🐶

One of my favorite things to do is drag Devu into the creative world I love, the stuff Rohan jumps into without hesitation! But Devu on the other hand, greets with eye-rolls and dramatic sighs, ugh, I know - so painful! Holiday decorating, tablescapes, antiquing, pottery making. He resists, but he’s a good sport and usually goes along. And then, like clockwork, something shifts. He gets quiet, focused, deeply in tune. In those moments, I get to witness the joy of him getting lost in the process, creating, exploring, simply being himself.

Lately his sense of humor has really started to come out and his one-liners are spot on, and oh so funny! Part of me is so excited to see who he’s becoming. Like where did he get this funny personality from?!

But, then there’s the mama part that just wants time to slow down, even just a little. 🥹 That maybe, somehow, we could hold onto this chapter a little longer. And hopefully we get to, with the lazy days of summer just ahead.

We love you, Devu. You are our baby. You are our heart. 💖

Here’s how to style a stunning Thanksgiving tablescape from Fall decor to French country elegance!

Serious question: Team solid colors or florals for spring???

This spring, we're seeing a resurgence of this oldie, but goodie color:

💕🌹Dusty rose (aka Mauve) 🌹💕

It's one you either love or hate, so I'm genuinely curious where you stand!

We're experimenting with this shade a bit and I am finding myself more and more drawn towards it.

As a solid color, it feels like the perfect pop without going pastel or vibrant.

As a floral, it feels so romantic, like we've reimagined a vintage floral print, and added a sprinkle of the Golden Girls' panache 😅
