A word on Thanksgiving by Carl Detering from our latest newsletter: I do not know about you, but Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. A chance to spend four days with family and friends, enjoying football and hunting. Turkey and dressing with fresh cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole are staples of our Thanksgiving dinner usually enjoyed in the Texas hill country. Life does not get much better than this!

Food, fun, and friends are our way to celebrate with gratitude. Thanksgiving gives us a specific day when we can give thanks for all of our blessings. I am grateful for so many things and if you are reading this newsletter, you are on my “grateful” list. We are so grateful to be associated with all of you through The Detering Company, employees, customers, vendors and friends.

From our family to yours, we wish you the most wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that you, too, will be able to share your gratitude with family and friends (and perhaps a winning football team!)

Much to be thankful for in 2024, this team most of all! 🥧🍗🍁🍂 We had a delicious Team lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving and each other catered by followed by the sweetest dessert competition. A big congrats to our dessert winners: 1st prize went to Mike Flores (Sweet Dreams), 2nd prize to Shelby Wallace (Caramel Apple Cheesecake Dip), and 3rd prize to Tiffany Bankston (Chocolate Delight). 🥧🍗🍁🍂
