Apparently, a broken wrist can stop me from upholstering chairs, but it can't stop me from designing. When I needed a roomy, tote-style handbag to carry back and forth to occupational therapy, I just designed my own. Most of the time though, I don't want to carry a big bag. And I really don't like the hassle of switching purses. So, I had this idea: What if I designed a coordinating wallet that also worked as a clutch purse to slip inside the handbag? When I want a smaller purse, I could just pull it out and go.
Well, one thing led to another, and the next thing you know I’ve opened another Etsy shop – featuring my surface designs on handbags, clutch wallets, scarves, and makeup pouches– all designed to coordinate, not simply match.
