This is from Steve's girlfriend Amanda :
The day before yesterday I was driving myself and my baby home when I noticed the air conditioning in our van wasn't blowing cold anymore. Not only that, didn't feel like it was running properly. At this point I was very close to our house, at a red light, when I looked down and noticed that the thermostat was almost at the hot mark.. we were so close to home, so I didn't pull over or anything, just kept going to the house, praying the van wouldn't kill. We made it home and Steve was in the driveway and I noticed he looked worried even though he hadn't even seen the thermostat yet. That's when I noticed all the smoke coming from the hood 😮😮😮!! Steve's like, "turn it off!" , I do that, run and grab the baby, meanwhile, he pops the hood and smoke is billowing out everywhere! He swore the engine was shot. I'm already wondering what the heck I'm going to do about getting back and forth to work..?? So After the car cooled down a little bit Steve found the problem--a cracked radiator hose. He was able to temporarily fix the hose until a new one arrived at Auto Zone. After he fixed it, the van started up fine, thank God! We both agreed that I must have pulled up at the house in the nick of time because the engine was so hot, Steve was convinced the head gaskets had to have blown... But it seems that was not the case! Thankfully, now I am able to drive it like nothing ever happened.. I am so grateful to Steve for fixing our car this time and many other times in the past.. and it got me thinking about what I would have done if he wasn't around to help? What if I was by myself? A service like the one Stephen offers is valuable in that respect.. if you are in a bind and you live in his service area, Steve can definitely help. This was a minor mishap but the inconvenience I would have had to endure because of it would have been major. I just wanted to put this recent happening here on our page to illustrate how convenient it is to have your mechanic right there, where you are, instead of having to bring it to the shop. You save on towing fees and most of the time he can find the problem and fix it then and there, rather than you having to miss work waiting for your car to be worked on. I support Steve and his business because I know he is really good at what he does, he loves cars, and I believe that his service can truly help people who need it. If you have read this far, thank you and don't forget about Steve's Mobile Mechanic Service if you or anyone you know it's in a bind and needs an emergency mechanic!
