Where to begin? We always try to keep hopeful hearts and a positive attitude, but our adoption numbers have gone down and our intake numbers have continued. If you're interested in a specific dog or cat, please email us and we will make arrangements to meet with you over the weekend.

Email: [email protected] and title the email "weekend adoption" so hopefully it doesn't go to spam.

We want to see some of our overlooked animals experience their "happily ever after". Peanut, Snickers and Ranger are all black dogs and in danger. We have featured Peanut now for almost ONE year. We have kept him, because we see the potential and how much he wants to please, yet no one else has noticed it. We hope you will decide to meet this good boy with open hearts and minds and finally give him a life outside of a kennel environment.

Today's numbers: ONE agency assist intake, ONE stray dog, ONE owner surrender dog, FIFTEEN cat surrenders and SIX families used the community pantry. We had TWO puppies pulled by Hope Fur Paws Rescue , ONE dog reclaim and FOUR cat adoptions.

Please keep your animals contained and remember even fowl must be contained to your property. We keep getting nuisance calls all over the county regarding animals being destructive. Let's be kind and courteous to our neighbors and have a wonderful weekend.

We are located at 319 Davidson Drive and are open Monday through Friday at 10 AM. We close at 5 PM.

Our current needs: paper towels, scrub brushes, dog and cat food for our community pantry. Thank you to all who share, donate and adopt. You are all difference makers.

Mogley is just the best young man, yet is overlooked time and time again. We have had ZERO dog adoptions and must have some dogs leave as we approach the weekend. It's hurtful when we see what special dogs we have, but they're invisible to everyone else. He just sits and watches from his kennel like the good boy he is.

Mogley is good with others, smart and funny. He can walk on his back legs and knows basic commands. Mogley deserves a loving home. Please consider adopting this boy who is around 1-2 years old and weighs in at 57 pounds.

We are located at 319 Davidson Drive and are open 10 AM until 5 PM.

What a joy this FULLY vetted duo is to us. They both have been introduced to kittens, dogs and kids and have flourished, especially sister!

Mable (black and white) and Hardy (white with spots) are both very loving.

They love belly rubs, chasing balls and have been quick to learn to sit for treats.

They have very cute personalities and are right at 6 months old. These two are squatty Terrier mixes who know when to cuddle and know when to play.

Please choose to adopt Mable or Hardy today! We are located at 319 Davidson Drive and are open 10 AM until 5 PM.

**Please remember, unfortunately we cannot process credit card payments at this time due to an issue with our credit card vendor. We can only take cash and check payments until further notice. **

What a day! We want to thank each of you who had patience as our phone lines were off and on repeatedly today. We have an announcement: unfortunately, we will be unable to take any sort of credit card payment/donation until further notice. We hope to get this issue remedied with our credit vendor as soon as possible. We CAN accept cash or check in the meantime. We apologize for the huge inconvenience.

In the meantime: we will always take donations of dog food for our community pantry, cat food for the pantry, paper towels, bleach, durable cleaning brushes or collar/leashes which we provide every adopter/reclaimer.

It wasn't the day we were hoping for, but we had the same in as out on our dog population and had a few kitties leave! Tomorrow is a new day and we are banking on you showing up! We know you have been waiting to come. This is your sign to just come!

We had THREE owner surrender dogs enter our facility. We had TWO puppy adoptions, ONE adult dog adopted and THREE cats adopted. We had SEVEN families use our pantry.

We are located at 319 Davidson Drive and are open 10 AM until 5 PM..

Nia came in as an "injured" stray, but she is quite fine! She is very loving, full of energy and bouncy. She sits for treats and loves to explore when outside.

Nia is an "Arkansas Special" who is fully grown weighing in around 44 pounds. Nia knows basic commands and has done well with other dogs, but as always we encourage meet and greets in our play yard if you have other pups.

We believe Nia is around one year old and she is always happy regardless of her circumstances. Do you want a little girl to cuddle with? Nia is your precious little lady.

We are located at 319 Davidson Drive and are open 10 AM until 5 PM. Come, don't delay.
