Where to begin? We always try to keep hopeful hearts and a positive attitude, but our adoption numbers have gone down and our intake numbers have continued. If you're interested in a specific dog or cat, please email us and we will make arrangements to meet with you over the weekend.
Email: [email protected] and title the email "weekend adoption" so hopefully it doesn't go to spam.
We want to see some of our overlooked animals experience their "happily ever after". Peanut, Snickers and Ranger are all black dogs and in danger. We have featured Peanut now for almost ONE year. We have kept him, because we see the potential and how much he wants to please, yet no one else has noticed it. We hope you will decide to meet this good boy with open hearts and minds and finally give him a life outside of a kennel environment.
Today's numbers: ONE agency assist intake, ONE stray dog, ONE owner surrender dog, FIFTEEN cat surrenders and SIX families used the community pantry. We had TWO puppies pulled by Hope Fur Paws Rescue , ONE dog reclaim and FOUR cat adoptions.
Please keep your animals contained and remember even fowl must be contained to your property. We keep getting nuisance calls all over the county regarding animals being destructive. Let's be kind and courteous to our neighbors and have a wonderful weekend.
We are located at 319 Davidson Drive and are open Monday through Friday at 10 AM. We close at 5 PM.
Our current needs: paper towels, scrub brushes, dog and cat food for our community pantry. Thank you to all who share, donate and adopt. You are all difference makers.
