This is hands down my favorite season to decorate for. There’s just something about the changing colors that makes inspiration come so easily. Give me cooler temps, warm earthy tones, cozy layers, and all the spiced foods—I’m one happy girl. 🤎

The mother-daughter duo is at the shop today! 🫶🏻

So many of you hear me talk about my daughter but rarely get to see her because she’s usually working “behind the scenes.” From marketing and displays to inventory and all the little things that keep The Blended Bungalow moving, she helps make the wheels go ’round. 🤍

But today, we’re BOTH at the shop! Come by, say hello, and spend a little Saturday with us. We’d love to see you! 🛍️✨

Imagine trying to explain our store to someone who’s never been.. we have furniture, but not like a furniture store. We have local makers but we’re not a consignment store. We have a little bit of vintage but we’re not an antique mall. We have clothing, but we’re not just a clothing store. It’s hard to label, but once you experience it, you will want to come again and again because one thing is for sure.. we are curated, collected, and happy to be here! We hear from women everyday that we are their happy space for some “me time”, gift giving, and design inspiration and that is what we live to do! We love serving our community by bringing you a unique experience in a welcoming environment 🥰

Friday Favorites 🫶🏻
Just a few of the pieces we cannot get enough of right now…

• Folding Scalloped Tray — Pretty and practical. 🤌🏻 Use it as a bar cart, side table or for entertaining, then simply fold the stand away and use the scalloped tray on its own. We love a piece that can do both!

• Fresco Mirror — Literally gorgeous. 🤍 Beautiful carved details, a layered antique finish and an oversized scale give it that collected-over-time look we love. New, but made to feel wonderfully old.

• Velvet Designer Pillows — The easiest way to bring in rich color and texture. Perfect for layering with just about anything and making a room feel a little more finished.

• Scalloped Pendant Light — So much design impact for the investment. 🫶🏻 The scalloped silhouette makes a statement, and it even comes with a plug—no hardwiring required! Although, it can be hardwired if you prefer.

• St. George Dresser — An elegant, solid wood piece designed with that heritage, heirloom feel—the kind of furniture that looks like it has a story to tell.

• Vintage Art Deco Glass Candlesticks — And maybe my absolute favorite this Friday. ✨ That terracotta-rust glass, the Art Deco shape, the vintage character…these are just so cool.

When I say “We are LOVING all of our new arrivals!”, we truly mean it! Kathy and I are truly fighting the good fight not taking everything home with us this week! From our new vintage finds to our clothing unboxing it has been a struggle. We want it all 🍁🎃🧡
