Adelphi Paper Hangings
Webb House Damask, an English pattern circa 1770-1780 in a custom colorway.

A flocked version of this flowering vine with diaper pattern is found in a bedroom of the 1752 Webb House in Wethersfield, Connecticut. It is supposed to have been hung in 1781 in preparation for a visit from George Washington, although that date is perhaps late for this pattern.
