Michigan Family Adventures After 5 years of full-time RV travel we settled in Holland, MI. Still love travel and adventures! My name is Bekah and my husband is Fred.

We have four children with three of them still in the nest. We are entrepreneurs, avid travellers, mediocre parents, knowledge seekers, and LGBTQ+ allies. Fred is a computer programmer, owner and operator of a digital marketing company, a software development company, a mattress store, and a most recent venture into the cultivation of gourmet mushrooms. ay at home mom who rarely stays at home for 15 years. I'm a photographer, avid hiker, the family planner, writer, and for the first time in 7 years, I am no longer a homeschool teacher. In October of 2015 we bought a fifth wheel. In January of 2016, Fred and I moved into the RV with our two younger children. Our fourth child was born later that year. We lived and traveled full-time in the RV for five years. We are currently settled in Holland, MI (Fred's hometown) and only travel part time now. Sometimes with our RV and sometimes without but always up for an adventure!

Our Story

Our journey has begun. Visiting out-of-state family over the years has spawned a passion for traveling and simple living. We decided to take some time to explore our country and teach our children with experiences as well as books. Follow along as we pull our family 5th wheel from destination to destination, enjoying everything from luxury RV resorts to backwoods boondocking. Not to mention, lots of learning curves along the way! Three of our children travel with us, one girl and two boys. We also have an older daughter who is married with a beautiful daughter of her own. Hopefully she and her hubby will join us on occasion too! My name is Bekah and my husband is Fred. Fred is from Holland, MI originally but I am from Illinois. We have been married and living in Illinois for the last 15 years. We still have a house there which will be 'home base' for a while. We have family in Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio so we visit those states often. We hang out in warmer states in the winter. :)
