Can anyone tell me what I did to displease the overlords? Their all knowing automated rejection process has no useful information. I don’t spam, promote clickbait or give aways, and I barely provide any information, false or otherwise. I’m less annoyed that I’m not being recommended and more annoyed that there is no way for a business to deal with this. If I depended on Facebook for revenue this would be an actual problem.

My favorite part of milling is seeing a project come full circle. This pecan came from my wife’s coworker. I commissioned Underhill's forge for the blades and provided the blanks for the scales. The same log provided the pieces for the scabbard which I finally made the time to finish. Check this one off the to-do-list. Now on to the next thing.

Just a few pictures from one of my active jobs. It’s always nice to see some progress being made. Florida finally got some much needed rain so now everything is slippery and slimy. Let’s pray for another couple of days like this past Saturday to help put those fires out.

I got caught up in what we were doing. I’ll take better pictures next time.

I haven’t gotten a chance to post my work from the last couple of weeks. Last week I got the opportunity to help prep the site for future work. Instead of milling I got to spend the morning skidding logs and playing with my tractor. This Badboy will do some work

Some days I spend 12 hours pumping out as much lumber and I can…other days I do less than that. Today I got to resaw a piece of Purple Heart for a buddy. Too bad we don’t have any growing around here. I just love that color.

Just a little bit of tension in this beam, I would say. The gap is deceptive…I was able to fit my whole hand in there by the end.
