When you call our office you will speak with 1 of only 2 people. Either Ed, the owner, or Jean, the office manager will take your call, consider your needs, and arrange an appointment for you

at your home. We will assess the scope of your project, direct you to our competent suppliers, and will guide you through the process of choosing quality materials. WHO WE ARE

Peterson Home Improvement is owned and operated by Edward Peterson. He was trained in NYC, completing 4 years of night school and a 4-year apprenticeship to become a NYS certified carpenter. While working on many hi-rise and hi-end projects, Ed joined an elite group of master carpenters who shared their vast knowledge of structural and finish work. His lifelong interest in carpentry led to starting his first business which was a renovation partnership in lower Westchester County. In 1990 Ed relocated to Dutchess County and Peterson Home Improvement was established with Ed being the sole owner/operator. WHERE WE WORK

As the weather warms and we venture outside the house make sure leaders are attached and water is draining away from your foundation. Also, soil should be higher against foundation and drain away. Often the dirt gets flattened out over time.
