Shimoni Fine Furniture Restoration & Custom Woodworking Shimoni Fine Furniture Restoration Uri Shimoni has been working with wood for 30 years.

He began his studies and work on restoration in Strasbourg, France when he was in his early 20's and continued this work when returning back to Jerusalem. After moving to Chicago, he worked for himself restoring Fine Furniture and working side by side with designers and clients to create beautiful custom furniture for homes. He did this work in Chicago for over 20 years and now divides his time b

etween the two countries that he calls home. He worked on many museum pieces including the desk Abraham Lincoln used to sign the peace treaty at the end of the civil war, furniture from the Kennedy family estate, and Nicholas II, Emperor of Russia's custom made ski case.
