My name is Heather Ferris and I have built everything you see in the photo albums for this page. I began woodworking right after my husband and I moved into our first house. We moved from a small one bedroom apartment to a three bedroom home with hardly any furniture. I couldn't wait to fill up the new spaces around me. Unfortunately, the style and quality of furniture I enjoy was way out of my pr

ice range. Using tools I borrowed from my grandfather and an array of websites and videos, I taught myself how to build the furniture I could't afford to buy. Every project teaches me something new and my technique is continuously improving. I have finally decided to follow the advice of family members and friends who have encouraged me to sell my furniture. Everything shown in the photo albums for this page is either for sale or can be rebuilt to fit your style and space at a more affordable price than you will find in catalogs.

The hardest part of building a hexagon shelf is choosing from over 100 different size, paint and stain combinations. The best part is styling the shelves once they are hung.

These particular shelves measure 3.5" deep and are 16" x 13.88". The exterior is stained Weathered Gray and the interior is painted Wispy White.
