Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for packaging are expanding, with additional regulations expected in 2026 and compliance deadlines approaching across seven states that began implementation in 2025.

AHFA's 2026 Packaging Forum will bring together manufacturing, regulatory, sustainability, legal, supply chain and packaging professionals to examine how these laws impact the home furnishings industry.

The forum will review current and upcoming EPR packaging laws, examine problematic packaging used in shipping furniture and highlight packaging providers developing more environmentally responsible solutions.
