Coastal Classics by Nanette Price

Coastal Classics by Nanette Price Each lifestyle piece honors a seaside town. Proud to be American Made. Perfect for your home whether you live there or just want to.

A fresh, colorful, upscale collection of upholstery pieces celebrating the American Coast for everyone who loves the style, comfort and beauty of our coastline. “Each piece captures the individuality of the coastal traditions it represents while maintaining, superior craftsmanship, comfort and style”, reflects Price. For 17 years High Point native and interior designer Nanette Hurley Price has des

igned home interiors for her customers all over the world. Her love for our American coastline mingled with her desire to help create homes of rest and rejuvenation made Coastal Classics by Nanette Price the perfect choice for her 1st furniture collection. Nanette unveiled her new furniture collection with Key City at the 2011 Spring Furniture market in High Point, NC. Nanette is CEO and principal designer of N Design International, LLC

Coastal Classics contains twenty-eight pieces, with classic shoreline curves, scalloped trims, and exquisite craftsmanship. Each frame, fabric, pillow, gimp and trim has been meticulously selected to enhance each piece as a coastal classic work of art. An incredible eye for detail, Nanette has a way with trim whether it’s a “grass skirt” on the front panel of a curvy chair or a fringe of wooden beads edging a flirty little skirt on a slipper chair.

“For me the perfect trim is like the perfect accessory on a little black dress,” she says

Coming soon, more collections from Nanette will highlight our American cities, lake regions, and mountain retreats. Each piece again will be named for an American town or city celebrating its unique style.

“Feel the warm sea breeze, wiggle your toes in the sand and relax in your favorite chair, watching the tide come in as your soul revives. This is where the inspiration for my collection comes from, blending patterns, colors & trims to remind you to kick back and savor this one life.” Nanette

Welcome Rex, Delores, Allison, Ruth Ann and Sara! Thanks for liking our page. We are honored to have you! Decided we needed a page devoted to Coastal love and lore and love of Coastal Classics. For now, here's one of my favorite quotes: "Live in the Sunshine, Swim the Sea, Drink the wild air!" - Ralph Waldo Emerson. I'm happiest when I'm doing just that! You?

I could sit and look at this painting for hours on end enjoying the objects in the window and how the light filters in. Also makes me wonder what the view is beyond the windowpane. Is it an exquisite English garden or an inviting lake? Perhaps sand dunes and seagrasses. This is the latest work by Nan Wood Hall in oil. It's actually two paintings that when joined together look like one. Sold individually or as a pair. If you'd like more information, message me and I'll get the information to Nan.

Working on a beach house at Kure Beach! Updating a 1957 bungalow cottage. So very excited about this project. Pictures to come - Before's and Afters. Stay tuned. Here's a preview of the fabrics we're using in the bedroom. I'm in love with the coral colored coral animal motif print with the ombré mint green print comforter.

Want to give a shout out to a great small business I heard about yesterday - Loggerheadapparel.com. Check them out on-line and on Facebook (Loggerhead Apparel) It's wonderful to hear a business doing it right and making a difference! We support their efforts to make a difference for the Loggerhead turtles & our beaches, as well as to keep American workers working making 100% American Made textile products. They also have a cool logo and great shirts. Look for them in specialty clothing stores. Let's support them. Together we can make a difference at our beaches & our economy.

Here's their story: Loggerhead Apparel was born in the minds of two South Carolina natives in early 2009. One a product of the Lowcountry, who grew up on the coast just north of Charleston. The other a product of the Upstate, the grandchild of mill workers in the textile town of Spartanburg.
Their passion and pride for the state of South Carolina, its people and its beauty, its wildlife and its economy, led to Loggerhead Apparel.
The Loggerhead Sea Turtle is an endangered species, and the coast of South Carolina is extremely important to its survival. The textile industry of South Carolina, once thriving, is as endangered as the Loggerhead, and has a huge impact on the economy of our state.
Loggerhead Apparel will provide top-quality, American-grown, American-made clothing at a fair price. Ten percent of the revenue gained from the sale of all Loggerhead Apparel shirts will be donated directly to local causes supporting the conservation and protection of the Loggerhead.
In addition to supporting the Loggerhead, Loggerhead Apparel will also support the local textile industry, because no part of the production process will take place outside of the United States.
