Hot in the shop today! You can’t see it but I have sweat dripping from my chin. Anyway…thankful to be here. Since my business depends so heavily on driving, let’s just say these fuel prices are killing me!!! But, atleast I have business coming in and for that I am VERY thankful. So thank you to all of you. Some hours I’ll be here this week in case you need to get stuff sharpened for the fair.

Yep…still here. I know my sign always says “closed”, but I am OPEN for business…I have so much come through the drop box and my routes are getting bigger so I’ve catered my hours to my kids and my hubby instead of being here, also, with the rising gas prices trying to cut down on road mileage when I can. Still getting the work done in a timely fashion though…between 4-7 day turn around. I like not being open “business” hours and locked into them so that I can be home with the kids or at the nursery or here…who knows where I’m going to be. It’s kinda like, “where’s Waldo”? 🤣🤣 if you don’t want to use the drop box though, let me know where you are located and we can see if there is a drop location near you or if there is a place one could go in your area. I am here though, I just never flip my sign…so, if you desperately need something done, give me a holler and I’ll let you know when you can find me at my shop! Now to get these blades done for Swiss meat company. Thanks all for your continued support!

I know I haven’t posted in a while, things are busy enough that is seems like posting takes a back seat. Not to worry, I’m still in business and as busy as ever with it, even though my signs say “closed”. I’m spending a lot of time at the nursery these days…this is just one of the houses that occupy my time. That being said…I STILL have the DROP BOX…and as strange as it sounds, that system DOES work…you just have to use it. I also have my drop locations, 16 of them around the area plus other cabinet shops and businesses. If you don’t use the drop box…you are going to be hard pressed to find me there at hours you want to come in. I have LOTS of people that do use it though and there hasn’t been any issues. I am trying to get work done within a week, if not sooner…so wait times aren’t crazy. Drop locations:

Been a hot minute since I’ve updated…I forget about this “social media” gig quite often! New shop is coming along, still have a ways to go, but so fun seeing the progress and the guys have been working hard on it when they get free moments. Business is great, very busy and I’m ready to start expanding into some new markets. My husbands nursery business is also entering it’s really busy season so I’m splitting time between the two places. As always, the drop box is a GREAT way to go if I’m not here. I come in almost everyday, except the weekends, but my hours are helter-kelter with going between places. Heads up about this week. 1. I have decided to cancel my route this week due to the forecast on Wednesday/Thursday. 2. If we get the amounts projected I won’t be able to get into work for a few days…I apologize, I am trying to keep up with things but it will take longer to get things done.

If I were to expand into the bandsaw sharpening market for sawmills…would there be an interest? I know there is a basic interest because I do get calls about them, however I’m looking for more specific information on the size of blades people have and how often they would need to be sharpened. This is something I’m seriously considering…but needing some feedback. Looking for commercial or residential hobby enthusiasts.
