I had the privilege of framing this large art piece brought to me by a friend. The frame was made from an 80 year old heart pine roof beam, poplar, and a naturally greyed white pine plank. The art was made by carving wood and pressing layers to create the finished painting. (Artist cred as soon as I find their name!)

I've been out for a while as we welcomed our new baby girl to the family on Christmas Day. She came a little earlier than planned and has already been a handful but she has definitely made us more complete. Now that I'm finally back in the shop, I've been very busy catching up. Finally finished my daughter's coloring table. Slow process between all the Christmas orders. Table is chamfered ply top painted white on angled, tapered natural poplar legs and chair is bent ply painted white on hand carved, tapered natural poplar legs. Maybe one day she will be here helping me!
