Trail horse training
Spots for training trail horses will be coming open at the end of March or first weeks of April. I do all my work outside in a round pen or a rolling hill outdoor arena and on local trails so weather influences training schedules. I can get your horse to try out new things and experiences depending on individual tailored needs. Options can range from one week of rides to start their season after the long winter to longer stays to address ongoing issues or even starting with a blank slate. I work around roads, water, and animals so they get a well rounded range of experiences to ensure a positive riding experience minimizing future spooks. I can also make sure ground manners are addressed and that they are well mannered for shoeing (farrier services also offered while training). I specialize in trail riding as show style arena training is not a primary focus of mine however I will calmly work with you and your horse to provide the best and experience for horse and rider.

Legend is a 13 year old grulla gelding. He's fairly easy to catch in a large pasture if you know what you're doing because he will try you. I don't have issues with catching him. He is sound, ties, loads well and is good for the farrier. I purchased him from an outfitter in Absarokee where he was used to go down the trail in a dude string. He struggles riding out alone as he really likes his buddies and prefers to be with another horse a experienced rider can ride him out but most anyone can ride out with another horse with him.

hunters special one ride and pack and one just pack. selling for a client havent got a ton of time but the bay learns fast neck rains and gives to foot pressure but not really a beginner horse do not reccomend ridding paint but both pack well has been there job most there lives there in there mid teens will continue working with them tell sold and could have a couple of slots open for a couple weeks if you would like me to put some miles on them. stands for farrier and trailers fair .

i have a client lookingi to sell there friesian if anyone is in the market rides good i had her here for a couple week sand got her doing pretty good not trained to pull yet but learns pretty quick if you have any questions feel free to ask
