I haven’t posted in way too long because a couple of whole-house projects for recent clients have been keeping me busy. Now that the holidays are over, though, you know what’s on its way - countdown to spring cleaning! My favorite part of the year! It’s time to get organized and if you need help, I’m your girl. Here are some pics to prove it doesn’t have to cost much or be fancy to be great. The unseen just needs to be functional! Chris and I have TEENY closets in our 110 year old house. My own space has been getting quite a facelift this spring - my law office space, that is. The most fun room in the building is now the playroom used by the kids of everyone who works in my office (my own kiddos included). The black box on the wall is a Murphy-style desk that folds out for homework and other activities and folds away for more play space when not in use. After a week of heavy use during spring break, the room is still standing. Kid tested and parent approved! Everyone is happy!

January for me always brings an overwhelming need to declutter and start off fresh for the new year. This year, I took that need straight to work at my law office. It’s a traditional space that was fine before, but really benefitted from a fresh coat of paint, some decluttering, new drapes, and a few new pieces of art and furniture. I’m sharing a few pics of our common spaces and even a pic of our supply closet. I’m not sure what it says about me that sparkly gold paper clips and organized supply cabinets make me so happy, but whatever that says I will own up to it! So excited to have finally put the finishing touches on our tree at home. We lucked out and picked up some treasures while shopping locally at the Candy Bouquet this weekend. We found a unique wire garland and several large gold stars. I also have a tradition of making an ornament for each of our 7 children with their names or initials every year. This year I put together these giant white ornaments with the initial of each of my kiddos. They were just what we needed to complete our tree. Praying this season is full of joy and blessings for each of you! Rebecca
