I just wanted to make a quick post to explain my absence since late November last year. In short I was stabbed VERY close to my heart by a coward with a large knife because people we worked with around the shop thought it would be so funny to tell the psychopath that I was sleeping with his girlfriend who had just separated from him, what could possibly go wrong they thought! I'm not proud to say that PTSD had a very powerful effect on my whole lifestyle day to day. For example just this week was the first time I've slept in my bed lying down since I was stabbed. I had been sleeping in my living room sitting up on my couch with my 9mm Reuger on my lap. If you know me, you know that isn't my style, but that knife woke up some new thought patterns and I am finally able to process it all and be alright with life and a normal routine again. So if you guys can bear with me through this process, I'm gonna be trying to bring you videos of my custom builds. i appreciate your continued support and look forward to hearing from you guys and gals

Weeping Cherry hollow form in which I was actually able to keep the voids! I’m working on a base with led lights pointing straight up at the vase, hopefully accentuating the feminine curves of this beautiful piece of wood.

The first void filled hollow form I’ve ever turned!!!! I’m excited to see this project finished with the base that matches and lights up the bud vase perfectly! Stay Tuned!!

Sneak peek at a new “Industrial Style” Coat Rack I’m finishing up this weekend. It’s going to be a wall mounted piece with countersunk holes pre-drilled and brass and black screws will be included. This piece can double it's purpose by being a 2" tea light candle holder as shown in these pictures, or it can be used as a bud vase for your favorite flowers because I hollowed it out down to about 5" deep to make room on the inside, and yes it will hold water if you want to use live flowers! Hand turned Walnut set in a gloss black steel frame

This is a Poplar tea light candle holder I turned and spent a few hours drawing the design in with colored pencils then accented the lip with a color shift purple and finally cleared it a few times to get that signature"How's he Do That?" Catoe finish! Constructive criticism is always welcome folks!

As you well know I’m terrible at getting pictures up promptly for your viewing pleasure and I sorta apologize, I think, anyway I wanted to let you guys know that I’m gonna be offering DIY Sign Kits for a great price ($20 average)! The kits have EVERYTHING that you and your family or friends need to create your own sign together in the comfort of your own home! In each box there is a finish sanded unsealed piece of wood I handpicked for it’s grain characteristics, 2-3 colors of paint, 1-4 stencils with various phrases (you choose the phrase), 2 bristle brushes,1 dabber sponge, and the hardware to hang your piece on your wall!
