Hello 👋 !

It is time to make plans to be a part of the United Harvest Mobile Food Pantry distribution for the month of May! The upcoming distribution will take place on Saturday, May 16, at the PEACE Center parking lot (6th Street and Lincoln Ave.). Volunteers should arrive around 9:30, and please let us know if you plan to volunteer by signing up through the link below. You do not need an account to sign up this way! As of now, the weather is expected to be beautiful on the 16th, so come on out and be a part of the fun!

If you wish to receive food at this event, just join the line of cars heading North on 6th Street. Vehicles will begin to be allowed to enter the parking lot at 9:45 a.m. If you wish to receive food on behalf of someone else, please obtain the necessary paperwork now, as it must be filled out and signed by the recipient IN ADVANCE of your arrival on the 16th.

Hello, and happy Friday!

Next Saturday (2/21), there will be a great group of people at the PEACE Center (6th St. and Lincoln Ave.) from around 9:30 to around 11:30 a.m. for the February United Harvest Mobile Food Pantry distribution. Want to join us? It will be fun! If you can volunteer to assist with food distribution, let us know you're coming by signing up through the link below. If you need food or know someone who does, we will begin the food distribution at 9:45. Most recipients join us via the line of cars heading North on Lincoln Ave., but we have a walk-up option as well for those without a vehicle. (Walk-ups can request a food box at the door on the East side of the building.)

Hello potential volunteer!

The next United Harvest Mobile Food Pantry distribution will be held January 17, 2026, at the PEACE Center (7th St. and Lincoln Ave.). We will need volunteers to direct traffic, to move food from pallets onto carts, and to pull carts with food to recipients' vehicles. Time frames and job descriptions for each of these tasks are provided in the link below.

Please be sure to bring coats and hats and gloves, no matter what volunteer position you plan to fill, as we occasionally need to move people from one position to another.

We will need volunteers to distribute food, to direct traffic, and to pull carts transferring food from the food stations to the vehicles of the recipients. Hello and happy Friday!

The upcoming United Harvest mobile food pantry distribution will be held on Saturday, November 15, at the PEACE Center parking lot (6th and Lincoln Ave.). Anyone is welcome to receive food. Volunteers are needed to help distribute the food.

Those wishing to receive food should merge into the line of cars traveling North on Lincoln Ave. Cars will be directed into and through the PEACE Center parking lot, where food will be placed into their vehicle by volunteers.

To pick up food for someone else: you must obtain a two-page form from either the United Methodist Church or the First Presbyterian Church office and have the intended recipient fill out the form in advance of the distribution. Bring the two pages to the distribution to receive food on the other person's behalf.

To volunteer, please sign up via the link below and plan to arrive around 9:30.

Hello, and happy Friday!

I'm writing to let you know that on Saturday, September 20, the United Harvest mobile food pantry will be operating in Hastings, distributing food to anyone in need. We usually have around 400 recipients. It takes a lot of volunteers to accomplish this feat, and we hope that you will consider joining us! Though things change, the weather forecast for the 20th looks to be beautiful. Since we operate primarily outside, the weather is a big deal, and good weather means it's a great time to check out the operation if you're someone who has never done so or not done so in a while.

If it works out for you to join us, please let us know you'll be coming by signing up through the link below. Also, specific times and job descriptions are listed at this link, but the basic info is that we operate out of the PEACE Center (7th and Lincoln Ave.), and we need the majority of our volunteers from around 9:30 to around 11:30.
