Our mission is simple, we want to provide both quality and affordable furnishing solutions to every home. The main reason we started this company was because I wanted to have a business that allowed me to have more time with my family. I've always loved building things and working with my hands, which is a trait I've passed onto my son as he enjoys to work along side me. The other reason we decide
d to take this business venture was because today's furniture options are expensive but cheaply made. For instance, we needed living room furniture so we visited several local box stores to explore some options. We ran across several tables that the price alone blew my mind. Not only that, but along with a $600 price tag-it shook so much I was scared to breathe on it. Our patio set we had purchased a year ago was already worn, weathered, and brittle. We needed something sturdy, timeless, and able to withstand our two large dogs and our rowdy 3 year old son. I went home that evening amazed at the cheaply made items that were being sold at such a ridiculous price! My wife would show me pictures of furniture from the latest catalogs, in which almost all the items would push into $600+. I thought to myself, "I could build that and it would probably out last me!" The next day that's exactly what I did and for so much less. That's when our furniture venture was born. Photography and framing is something my father in-law, Scott Huffer, has been known for. He proposed we jointly work on that together and procured the space needed to do so. We do great work at great prices and provide an array of options to tailor it for your needs. My wife, Bree, is the artsy one. I consult with her on basically anything that requires a good eye for style, practicality, and design. She is also creative and handy with paintings and designs. In fact, she produced our company logo. This is how Southern Grain Furniture & Frame was born. We are a great family buisness Test us out and learn that quality can be affordable and timeless.
