November Trash schedule

06/18/2021

The Storm Prediction Center has placed Delaware County and our surrounding counties under an Enhanced (Level 3/5) Risk for severe weather tomorrow (Friday, June 18, 2021). Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes will be possible from storms between 4PM to 3AM. Flash Flooding will also be a threat, as these storms will also contain heavy rain. Make sure to stay weather-aware tomorrow by tuning in to local media outlets, NOAA Weather Radio, or by signing up for NIXLE alerts from DCEMA by texting your zip code to 888777.

Don't approach downed power lines - keep a distance and call 911. Turn around, don't drown. Put away loose furniture including patio furniture to prevent them from blowing away. If possible, stay home during and in the immediate aftermath of a storm. Build a kit and make a plan - further information on preparedness can be found on our website at https://www.co.delaware.in.us/department/division.php?structureid=110.

Friendly Reminder:

Hartford City Utility Customers,

The weather forecast has the temperatures falling into the teens, single digits, and possible negative temperatures over the next week. It may be beneficial to let one of your cold water faucets drip to help prevent your water lines from freezing during this cold snap. While letting a faucet drip doesn’t guarantee your pipes won't freeze, it will reduce the chances immensely.

Thank you from your Hartford City Water Department.
