Let's talk about stone — countertops, backsplashes, and everything in between. Starting here: a full-slab quartzite backsplash with natural blue-grey veining.

This kitchen features Crystal Cabinets frameless construction with the Brentwood Square door style in Designer White paint — a clean, minimal backdrop that lets the natural stone do exactly what it's meant to do. The contrast between the crisp white cabinetry and the dramatic veining in the stone brings movement and texture into the space without overwhelming it.

Pull-out shelves inside a base cabinet are one option for storing pots and pans, and it's easy to see why they're a popular choice. Rather than a fixed shelf where things get buried and stacked out of reach, each pull-out slides forward independently — so the top shelf doesn't block access to what's below it. Everything is visible, reachable, and back in place with one motion.

The two-tier setup shown here works particularly well for separating cookware by type or frequency of use. Everyday pans on top, larger or less-used pieces on the lower shelf. Nothing is stacked on top of anything else in a way that creates a problem to undo every time you cook.

A deep drawer dedicated to pots and pans is one option worth considering if you're rethinking how your kitchen storage works. Rather than stacking cookware in a lower cabinet and pulling everything out to reach what's at the back, a wide pull-out drawer lets you store pieces in a single layer — lids, pots, and pans all visible and within reach the moment you open it.

It's a practical shift. You're not digging. You're not unstacking. You open the drawer, grab what you need, and close it. For a heavily used kitchen, that kind of accessibility adds up quickly.

A paneled drink fridge in a bar area is one of those decisions that's easy to overlook during the design process. Faced with the same material as the surrounding cabinetry, it reads as part of the millwork rather than an appliance sitting in front of it. The difference in the finished space is real!

Functionally, a dedicated drink fridge keeps beverages separate from the main kitchen refrigerator, which matters more than people expect when you're actually using the space. Everything stays organized, accessible, and out of the way of food prep.

Paneled refrigerators aren't just a design choice — they're a commitment to the overall vision of the space. When your fridge disappears into the cabinetry, the kitchen reads as one unified design rather than a collection of appliances and cabinets. It takes more planning upfront, but the payoff is a kitchen that looks polished from every angle. The stone backsplash and brass hardware here do the rest of the work — warm, textured accents against a clean white backdrop.

Wood cabinetry doesn't have to take over a kitchen to make an impact. Here, it's used strategically — flanking the range in the cooking zone where warmth and texture matter most, letting the white cabinetry carry the rest of the room. The result feels intentional rather than expected. Open shelving on the island base adds one more layer of detail that breaks up what could have been a very standard layout.
