Stepping outside the workshop to give our wood a little fun in the sun. ☀️

We source beautiful hardwoods from local mills for every Coop Forge piece and, more often than not, finish them with a clear coat that lets the natural grain do its thing.

Every now and then, though, a project calls for a little something extra. A subtle stain can bring out the richness of the wood, customize a piece to suit its space, and still let its authentic beauty shine through.

Sometimes the smallest change can completely transform how a kitchen feels.

We’re so thrilled that interest is growing in Coop Forge Aperture, our collection of functional custom screens, and we wanted to share a little about how we approach them.

Every screen is customized for the project. Sometimes we start with one of our bestselling patterns. Sometimes we begin with a story, a place, or an idea that’s meaningful to the client.

In this kitchen, we added screens to just two cabinets beside the window. The goal was to create a subtle moment that eases the transition between light and wall.

We paired a tight Chevron pattern with a Graphite finish for just enough texture and shimmer to catch the light.

When the time is right, we’d love to help you create a set of screens that’s uniquely yours.
