A Little About Us!
Hello everyone! My name is A.C., I’m the owner and builder to Against the Grain Woodshop. I’m the guy behind the designs & builds. If you message us you will usually be speaking to my girlfriend Jordan. She’s the one behind the computer doing all the admin work. We both have a previous background in law enforcement/corrections. Jordan is still quite invested in LE while I have taken a step back and decided to dedicate most of my time to building your designs. Alix is our son who helps me in the shop every now and then while learning the craft by my side. In January we were blessed with our darling little girl, Vivian. Some of her hobbies include eating & sleeping (samsies). In her short time here, she’s shown us she likes smiling & giggling in her sleep, loves warm milk, doesn’t like lullabies or Def Leppard’s Pour Some Sugar On Me. However, she absolutely LOVES Queen, Kiss, The Doors, Nina Simone, & AC/DC’s Highway to Hell and Shoot to Thrill. (Not kidding, if she’s ever fussy 2 minutes of AC/DC and she’ll be out.)
We operate out of our home, so we’re definitely a “small business”. All of our products are made by hand right here in Oklahoma, from our shop to your home. If you have questions, please feel free to contacts us. Thank you all for the support! We couldn’t do it without y'all!
