Funktionhouse Urban Lumber & Furnishings Rob and Zoe found each other in 2008. Both were unhappy with their careers.

Ziricote “sticks” in three sizes. ~ 10” 20” and 30” long x 1.5”x1.5” square finish dimensions guarantee. In rough sawn they are ~ 1/4” thicker. Some are ~ 1/2 longer or shorter some are ~ 1/4” thicker. We have thousands available at .25 cents an inch rough sawn + shipping in packs of 10 more with bulk discount for 50+ piece. We can plane them to your specs for an extra fee.

With this partnership we can now provide even more unique lumber all from locally sourced trees that would otherwise be firewood or sent to the city chipper.
From milling and drying services to lumber sales and furnishings we are your source for unique and exotic species that have been planted as landscape trees and often invasive. It’s not just oak and pine growing here. From Cuban mahogany to eucalyptus, rosewood and many exotic Asian varieties. Many of which are no longer available or very limited in quality and dimensions due to over harvesting in their native environment. All sources locally from natural falls or due to age or a hazard to property.
